I am a lawyer practising in litigation and dispute resolution.  I act on a range of matters primarily in the areas of building and construction law, debt recovery and insolvency and commercial litigation.

 

My team and I provide advice and representation to a wide range of clients on all manner of civil and building and construction disputes.  We regularly appear in alternative dispute resolution forums such as settlement conferences and mediations, and in traditional forums including arbitrations and the District and High Courts. 

 

We have extensive experience in adjudications under the Construction Contracts Act 2002, and regularly advise clients in relation to building contracts, including the Certified Builders and Master Builders standard form agreements, NZIA SCC and NZS3910.

 

We provide sound practical advice to clients, including consideration of the options available to achieve resolution of disputes.  We take a pragmatic and practical approach to matters and endeavour to find realistic solutions to the problem at hand.

 

We will explore alternative solutions to avoid you being caught up in time consuming and costly litigation.  However, if litigation is necessary, then we can act as counsel and advocate for you in any dispute resolution forum.
